Showcase and Exhibition Gala
Celebration Time!

Central Middle School Auditorium
On the corner of Rodd and Reardon Streets, Midland

This Exhibition will showcase the talents of each of the GMS Arts classes.  There will be stage presentations from the Oral Interpretation Class, a short movie will be shown from the Movie Making class, the Vocal Music class will perform along with the various dance classes, and the Drum Circle class.  Paintings, jewelry, ceramics, clay, quilts, sewing projects, poetry, wood crafts, and photos will be on display in the auditorium lobby.  This will be an exciting time for the GMS participants to share with the public what they have been working on all year.  It will be a fun and entertaining exhibition gala.  So come out and spend an evening with us.  You’ll be glad you did.  For more information call the GMS office at (989) 631-2493

Rumors
The Neil Simon comedy is the 2009 annual GMS summer production.  It is a farcical miscommunication about a mayor who shot himself, though only a flesh wound, and those who believe his wife shot him at their tenth wedding anniversary.  Everyone must get their stories straight before all the guests arrive and at this point the play turns into scenes of hilarity.
Building on the success of Auschwitz Echoes, Clue the Musical, The Boys Next Door, All I Really Need to Know I learned In Kindergarten and more, the GMS Drama Troupe is now very adept an putting on professionally written scripts.  Rumors is perhaps the most ambitious GMS play to date and should be very entertaining.  Those who come to see it will be pleased at the level of talent displayed by the GMS performers.
