All people we meet and every experience we have helps us find our place in the world and to better understand this beautiful puzzle called life.

As we search for our nitch we follow twists and turns, growing and learning as we weave the tapestry that is the story of our lives.

With focus on ability, GMS Arts Education delivers an upbeat message and offers extraordinary opportunities to develop personal skills and increase self-esteem through the artistic process.

GMS is an arts and mental health collaboration developed in Midland in April 1992. It incorporates natural community support and focuses on self-reliance and creative development for people who experience chronic mental health issues.

GMS strives to create positive social change for people of all abilities by providing education in non-judgemental, safe environments in the community.

GMS addresses key elements affecting attitudes of both consumers of mental health services and the general public.

GMS has the potential to reduce stigma, alienation, illness and poverty by providing vital links and education to individuals and their communities.

GMS presents shining beacons of hope, understanding, and unlimited possibilities!

GMS Art Education has many faces and many phases. Creating many friendships and the healing joy of sharing. All the world's a stage and GMS presents life reflections onstage and behind the scenes with classes, the Lost Arts Gallery, art exhibitions, drama, and dance. The music of life is heard through our efforts and as we create we are renewed!
